Artist Bio     

Drew Harter is thrilled to join the Join Opera Nuova Festival. Drew is a senior in the studio of James Morris at the Manhattan School of Music. Drew became a student of Mark Crayton at Roosevelt University College of Performing Arts  as a freshman in high school. He is a graduate of the Merit School of Music Alice Pfaelzer Conservatory Lyric Opera Partnership. He has been selected as a scholarship student at a many music festivals. He was selected as a scholarship student at Washington National Opera Institute, Oberlin Conservatory Vocal Academy, Westminster Vocal Solo Program, and the Metropolitan Opera Guild High School Opera Singer’s Intensive. Most recently Drew completed his second year as an apprentice at the Miami Music Festival where he performed the roles of Betto in Gianni Schicchi, and The Parson in The Cunning Little Vixen. He has been honored to perform in many master classes under the guidance Renee Fleming, Florence Quivar, Manny Perez, Caren Levine and Beth Roberts. He has also performed with the Main Street Opera Company, with the Kronos Quartet, and Chicago Master Singers. Drew is honored to join this tremendous company and thrilled to work with and learn from the gifted artists at Opera Nuova.
