How are you preparing for NUOVA’s programs?

  • Luckily I have been to NUOVA once before so this time around I know what to expect. I have learned all of my music and I am coaching and working on memorizing it all. Papagena does not have a lot of music to sing and her melody is super catchy, and I have performed Pamina before. This means that luckily, I get to do a lot of polishing but I don’t have to stress out too much. One thing that I am also working on is being in shape!!! NUOVA is A LOT of work and you need to be able to have energy to last you from 8am to 10:30pm.

What attracts you to NUOVA’s programs? Why this year?

  • At the end of last year when I was saying goodbye to all my new friends and colleagues, I knew I wanted to come back and get even more experience. I grew so much last year and I feel like this year I can really take all the lessons many times further! The faculty is incredible and there is simply no other program like this!
