How are you preparing for NUOVA’s program?

  • I am spending a lot of time in the practice room with my yoga mat to prepare me for NUOVA's intense rehearsing schedule. University is a pretty good training ground! I'm also contemplating the most efficient snack/meal strategy.

What attracts you to NUOVA’s programs?

  • Why this year? I saw Opera Nuova's production of La Bohème and I'm really excited to be a part of a local program for young artists. My neighbour has been telling me to audition for NUOVA ever since she heard me rehearsing for my audition at the University of Alberta, but I kept telling her I wasn't ready. I finally felt ready this year. She is one of my biggest fans!
