How are you preparing for NUOVA’s program?

  • I am preparing for NUOVA by learning my music, practicing my German, translating and learning as much about Magic Flute as I can.  This might include; learning what was going on during Mozart's life when he composed the opera, if there is any source material the story is based on, and any other interesting facts that can help me better understand the story and musical ideas. Other than that, I am getting plenty of rest because I know how rigorous of a schedule NUOVA can have and I want to be ready!

What attracts you to NUOVA’s programs? Why this year?

  • I think that NUOVA is such a wonderful and creative place to meet so many like-minded individuals who have new and exciting perspectives on the musical arts.  I chose to come this year mostly because the timing was right, I also love all of the productions being put on this year and can't wait to see and be a part of them.
