How Am I Preparing for NUOVA’s Program
- I am extremely excited this year to be a part of the 6 –week NUOVA program. After having done the 10-day program before, I feel like I will be prepared for the rigorous schedule as well as the lack of sleep! I think that coming into NUOVA knowing my music through and through will be the best way to prepare. This way, I don’t have to spend extra time learning the music and can concentrate on my characterization.
What Attracts Me to NUOVA’s Programs
- I am attracted to NUOVA because I believe it gives me an insight to what working in the professional world will be like. I love the idea of going to rehearsals every day and spending time with people who are as passionate about music as I am. NUOVA allows people to explore and discover themselves in ways that a school environment simply cannot, which is what attracts me the most. This year, I am extremely excited to be a part of Sondheim’sInto the Woods so I can expand into the art of musical theatre.
