Group Biography: Rayanne Laycock, Natalie Clark, Jessica Zaugg, and Megan Holt are all in their second year of studies in the Theatre Arts Program at MacEwan University. All four came to Edmonton from various locations around Alberta and British Columbia, and grew up surrounded by music and theatre. Each unique in their personalities and skills, everyone in this cohort has something to contribute, utilizing their own knowledge to improve as artists, both individually and in group settings. As a group, they bring musicality, expression, and passion to the table, and combine the energy of four enthusiastic performers to create a sound that is true to who they are. In a time where ensemble singing is hard to come by, they feel incredibly fortunate to live together. This opportunity to harmonize with each other and share their love of music virtually is one they are very grateful for, especially during the holiday season, where the best way to spread uplifting and cheerful messages of healing is through this universal language of song. They are excited to draw from their recent experiences at MacEwan performing scenes and songs from Bright Star in their program. All four girls are looking forward to taking part in productions of Into The Woods and Urinetown this coming 2021 season in the Theatre Arts Program.
