Biographies: Erin and Amy are thrilled to be making their debut performance with Opera Nuova. As sisters they grew up singing together in Cantilon Chamber Choir. Erin has a great love of singing, acting, directing, and working with kids. A graduate of the MacEwan Theatre Arts Program she performed in Guys and Dolls, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and 9to5 the musical. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Music at the University of Alberta. She would like to send out hugs to all her friends and family. As well as give a shoutout to Glyn and Nancy at Jasper United Church for supporting her along the way. She hopes that you will be filled with as much joy this Christmas season as her and her sister feel when singing together.
Amy is currently working towards a Bachelor of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Education, at the University of Alberta. She graduated from high school at Victoria School of the Arts where she was heavily involved in music, acting, and directing. While at Victoria School, she was involved in many productions including West Side Story, Shrek the Musical, and In The Heights. Having a sister to grow up singing with is what Amy is most grateful for. She has had a passion for singing her whole life and it delights her to have a sister who shares that passion. She can’t wait to share this music with you!
