Biography: Erin V-P is a musical theatre performer based in Edmonton. She has participated as a performer in the Opera NUOVA six-week intensive twice–in 2015, where she played Phoebe Meryll in Yeoman of the Guard, and in 2016, where she played Lucille Frank in Parade. She was also a part of the NUOVA “Crazy for Gershwin” cabaret in 2019.
Outside of the NUOVA sphere, Erin auditions (a lot), performs (a little), sings (constantly), and beats herself up on aerial trapeze and hoop with Firefly Theatre & Circus (and loves every second). She has also been taking advantage of her abundant downtime this year to read some literary classics, including “War and Peace,” “Anna Karenina,” “Les Miserables,” “Don Quixote,” and the works of the Brontë sisters and Jane Austen.
Erin is hoping that next year sees us all getting back into theatres and up on stages, but for now is really enjoying time at home with her husband and two cats. She wishes everyone happy and joyful holidays, whatever they may look like this year.
