Ruth Alexander

Ruth and her family moved to Edmonton last Summer, from the UK. She has worked as an actor/musician for over 25 years. Her theatre credits include: Once, the Musical (Citadel theatre, Edmonton) Richard III, The Winter’s Tale (Northern Broadsides UK Tour) Les Misérables, (UK Tour) Sweeney Todd, David Copperfield (Manchester) Blonde
Bombshells of 1943 (Hampstead Theatre, London) Macbeth, Hamlet (Liverpool). Ruth’s television credits include a reoccurring role on the long running series, Coronation Street.Alongside her acting career, she has also worked extensively in undergraduate education. She is a sessional lecturer on the performing arts course at MacEwan University, here in Edmonton, and has taught at some of the best drama schools in the UK and Europe.
