Role(s) in this year's festival:
Participating in the 10-Day Intensive Program
I am currently preparing for NUOVA's program by focusing on my repertoire that I am planning to bring to the program this summer, especially looking at things such as text and character.
I have many colleagues and mentors who have been a part of NUOVA's programs in the past, all of whom have nothing but wonderful things to say. I'm especially drawn to the idea of drama and theatricality within music, which I think is something that seems to be a large part of the development of young performers in NUOVA's programs. This is a program I've been interested in for a while, and now in my second year of post-secondary studies I felt that this year was a good point for me personally to pursue this program.
