Province/Territory: Alberta
City: Calgary
Role(s) in this year's festival:
Vera Boronel: "The Consul"
Ensemble: "Tuck Everlasting"
I am preparing for NUOVA by really living with the music as I learn it and letting myself get excited. Doing the dishes? Listening to The Consul. Walking to school? Listening to Tuck Everlasting.
I was attracted to NUOVA because it had drawn in so many of my fantastic peers over the years that I just wanted to know what I was missing out on! NUOVA seems to foster suck a tight knit community among its musicians and I can't wait to experience that.
