How are you preparing for NUOVA’s program?

In preparation for NUOVA, I am currently listening to and watching past productions of The Coronation of Poppea, gleaning all the information I can. I continue with my studies at Western, learning and applying everything I can while looking forward to the amazing opportunity that is Opera NUOVA.

What attracts you to NUOVA’s programs? Why this year?

NUOVA is an extremely well-known, well celebrated summer opera program providing concurrent training in many diverse areas of performance as well as technique, which is a crucial and thorough way of learning our craft. Last summer I had the enormous pleasure of participating in NUOVA’s hybrid program, which left me wanting for the full NUOVA experience! I am absolutely thrilled to be working with and learning form NUOVA’s world renowned faculty and staff as we embark on this continuously changing adventure of performance during an ongoing pandemic.
