Province/Territory: Ontario
City: London
Role(s) in this year's festival:
2nd Soldier/Liberto/3rd friend of Seneca : "Coronation of Poppea"
Assan: "The Consul"
I am preparing the role as I would any other, by watching the shows and truly understanding the stories and what my characters are doing in them. It's always great to see these wonderful stories unfold with the perspective of the character I will be playing and what the audience would see.
Nuova's programs have always attracted me. Last year I was meant to be in their productions of The Crucible and The Music Man, however due to constraints it was unable to be realized. However this year will be a great year to being able to participate in Nuova's great program and learn from their teachers and directors. Nuova has the opportunity to grant the experience I may not have been able to have just by being in school which is why I am so excited to be apart of their program this year.
