Emerging Artist Profile:
Taylor Mackenzie Burns

Young Artist Program - Singer Voice Type: Soprano
Province/Territory: Ontario
City: Kingston

Role(s) in this year's festival:

Fortuna: "Coronation of Poppea"

To prepare for the program, I will be preparing my role well in advance, as well as familiarizing myself with the opera. I will also keep on top of my singing technique and repertoire.

NUOVA has been recommended to me by many people. I look forward to the many different opportunities to learn new things and broaden my skill set. This year I feel that I have grown into my own artist and I have begun to cultivate my craft at a higher level, and I feel I am ready to take on the challenge of a professional setting at NUOVA.
