This magical Czech story of the forest tells the tale of a young Vixen fox cub who, after escaping capture, find adventure and love in the forest. The cycle of life is celebrated by both the animals of the forest and the people who inhabit it. Janacek presents some of his most experimental music while blending the magic of the animal world with the folly of village in this light opera of folklore.
Opera NUOVA is pleased to feature the dancers from Citie Ballet in this production.
